Claire & James’ Wedding at Mitton Hall

Claire and James got married on a beautiful summer’s day at St Hubert’s Church in Dunsop Bridge. The church could not have been more perfect for them – a warm and welcoming atmosphere with one of the most fun vicars we’ve come across!

After a gorgeous intimate ceremony it was on to the fabulous Mitton Hall for their reception where friends and family enjoyed funky cocktails in the sunshine. Claire’s mum Joan had secretly arranged the most wonderful surprise for them so we all gathered on the lawn as miniature boxes were handed out to guests. Joan had contacted us before the big day with a head’s up so we were totally ready for it all! The boxes were opened to simultaneous “oooo’s” and “ahhh’s” as the most beautiful butterflies were released – such a thoughtful surprise!

We always knew Claire and James’ wedding would be full of love and laughter and their fun-loving sides would shine through (you may remember their joyful Pre-Wedding Shoot at Lyme Park earlier last year). Claire has such a creative flair so it was obvious that the details of their wedding would be wonderful. To say they were wonderful would be an understatement! We were just blown away by all the quirky things they made – from the wooden signs, to colourful bunting, and all the fantastic table details – we were completely in our element!

From start to finish this wedding was an absolute treat – Claire & James’ families were so warm & friendly and we were welcomed from the moment we arrived. It was a true pleasure to share not only their wedding with them, but some wonderful heart-warming moments in the morning preparations.

We rounded up the day with some awesome sparkler shots and left feeling like we’d been guests ourselves. Thank you so much to you both and to your brilliant family & friends!
